Love Bite?

The other day Ian chose to show his affection for Jayden in a new and violent way. Those are real TEETH MARKS on the poor baby's cheek. This happened about 10 seconds after I complimented Ian on what a good big brother he was playing with the baby so nicely and making him laugh. Perhaps he did not appreciate my comments and needed to prove me wrong? I don't know. Ian bit him again the very next day on his fingers. So far it hasn't been repeated since.
Jayden is SO happy to be able to move around and GO to where he wants. It has kept him so much happier now that he can find the toys that he wants to play with. Ian, I think, is a little frustrated at Jayden invading his playing space, and I find myself playing referee a lot more often with the result that Ian is being sent to the penalty box a lot more often as well.

*Sidenote* We are having some trouble finding a gate for the top of our stairs. It seems that our stairs are wider than all other stairs in all other homes that need baby gates. The ones that extend to the width we need it are those designed for wide doorways (like french doors) and are labelled "not suitable for use on stairs". We're planning on checking out Babies R Us and if they don't have anything we may need to resort to using something not suitable for stairs. Right now the furniture is configured so that it would take some manuevering to get to the stairs and then we just keep a really close eye on him, as he is still moving slowly. Anyone have any suggestions?
